Penske was a great deal at $1000 from Home in Calif. to ID, with unlimited miles, and 5 days, for the 26' diesel.
That was the internet price with AAA discount.
The hitch was not having anywhere to drop off the truck in the Idaho Falls area, and dropping off in Boise would cost $300 more than in SLC, so we decided mom would drop off the truck in SLC and take a bus home from there.
Well, when she called Penske, who had already called me to offer additional discounts, they not only gave her 8 days instead of 5, but arranged for her to drop off the truck in Reno, which is a much shorter bus ride back home for her. And the price.............only $550!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
