That's quite a statement to make with no supporting evidence. Betty Bed Bug, for one, disagrees:

Yikes! I bet a lot of people didn't even consider bed bugs in moving vans... me included! Once you have them in bad cases, you just about have to throw your furniture out from what I've heard.
