Local Move - Best Truck to rent...
Seems like Ryder would be cheaper than U Haul as they give you 500 miles and U Haul charges by the mile.... but we've never used Ryder. How do their trucks compare to U Haul? Thanks!

do you have a penske place near you ? I would avoid uhaul at all costs even across town cause frankly they are known to have ragedy trucks and they break down all the time . I usually use penske yes they are more costly but better in the long run at least you can be assured if you do break down they will come right away and help you . U haul will let you sit on the side of the road for most of the day . Nope please go to penske . good luck with your move .

I had a good experience with a Penske as well. I would go with them.

Penske. Do a google search and you should be able to find some coupons as well.

I have used Ryder several times and have had nothing but good experiences. From the customer service to the prices to the quality of the equipment.
I would stay as far away from Uhaul as you can though.
Hope this helps!
