Why is it that so many people are trying to see how cheap they can move, You don't want cheap, you want cost effective. A reasonable cost for the work that needs to be done. When you go cheap and things go wrong they blame the mover. Do they not realize that if you move based on a phone estimate or an internet quote, that those are so inaccurate and you are asking for trouble. One thing to do is ANY TIME you are going to move, ALWAYS have an in home estimate in writing from a reputable company. NEVER schedule a move based on a phone estimate or an internet quote, they do not have enough information to accurately give you a price. And when the move is complete and they come to you and say I know I quoted you 900.00 but we did more work and the real cost is 1500.00 you have no one to blame but yourself. NEVER NEVER NEVER base your move on a phone quote or an internet quote, open the phone book call your local company and get a real estimate. Save yourself the aggravation you will experience if you do not follow this advise.
