Default Rental Truck Locks

Hello all, I am moving from Florida to Neveda in a rental truck which involves a trailer and a couple hotel stops. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a lock for the truck and the trailer that I will be towing me car on. I have one of those disc locks that I was planning on using the truck but not sure if that would work best or other suggestions. I have no idea how to lock the trailer so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a nice day!

An easy way to do it is to loop a chain through the frame of the trailer, and padlock both ends to the truck.

When you park, it's also a good idea to jack knife it into a corner somewhere, and then tighten up your chain on the shorter side so the trailer won't be able to straighten out behind the truck if somebody tries to drive off with it.

Thanks for the idea on the jackknife and also tightening the chain when I park, I hadn't thought of that, thanks again
