That assumes, of course, that the 'user' reviews at the site are accepted as unsolicited, credible input from actual customers.

Unsolicited, I doubt it. Credible, actual customers -I would guess in the area of 95%.

What percentage of the 1300 'vehicle transport' companies listed pay for their referrals? Of those, how many are 'Gold Supporters'?
|
Going by the site, 1st Call Auto Haul nor Specialty Mobile Systems
pays Transport Reviews anything. I know for a fact that AmeriFreight holds a raffle at the end of each month. Anyone who gave them a 5-star rating is eligible to win a prize. Many of the top companies listed on Transport Reviews (including United Road & Dependable Auto Shipping) solicit reviews and pay for those reviews in one way or another. However, as a carrier I have done business with each of the companies I mentioned previously. They treat the customers fairly, pay the carriers a decent wage, and generally do a good job of managing the process. This is vital to a healthy transport industry. I can't and won't say the same about any of the other "5-Star" companies.

How many quality carriers are listed in the top twenty-five (25) percent with a five (5) star rating?
|
Again, many of the highest quality carriers are small operations with one or two trucks. The drivers are the owners and they take pride in their work. If you can get directly to them without going through a broker, then I suggest that is what you should do. However, most people need their auto transports to originate and end on certain days, and would rather not wait for that one carrier to arrive in their city. This, in my opinion, is why auto transport brokers are necessary.
