Best advice would be to check with BBB on number of complaints (and endorsements). In these changing times, who might have been great 3 years ago, may no longer be.
Be prepared for some damages, but cover yourself by taking out the additional insurance. Also check with your homeowners policy if they will also provide additional coverage on your move (secondary at best).
Also, many people now are trying to cut costs, i.e. they will pack 95% of their household themselves and pay for packing only the fragile items most likely to be damaged.
