We are moving to TX this summer. I have three small children (one year old twins still in cribs and a 6 y/o) We are flying to TX with my brother. Dh will drive our car to TX ahead of time and pick us up at the airport. My sister will get us to the airport on this end. We will arrive in TX probably a week or more ahead of our belongings. We will have a house but no furniture-would you stay in the house and rent a bed and cribs? (babies will not sleep in pack and plays--no way, no how) or should we just stay in a motel that has cribs? This will be very expensive in summer especially since we will probably need a suite? What have others done? There should be a book on how to move across the country with children in tow!!!

Pam

When we moved we were in a similar situation. We chose to stay at a hotel that had cribs. It was much easier than renting and setting the cribs up to have to take it down a week later to return it. Best of luck in your move!
