In preparation to move I threw out more stuff. Today it was an old pair of LL Bean shorts and an old pair of Levi's but at least it was something. Probably could have sold them on ebay. Just the right amount of holes and paint stains for some kid.

At least I can't be classified as a hoarder. And since I probably won't move to Delaware for a year I am well on plan..

On the topic of hoarding - Love the TV show! That is the best show on TV ever! Every time I watch that show I freak out and the next day I go around the house throwing stuff out.

Best wishes, NJboy. I like that show but haven't watched in awhile.

Packed up some more books. Sold a bunch on ebay last week. Started pulling apart another tractor to sell parts.

I have tons of boxes now. Free from the feed store

Default What did you do today to get ready to move?

Absolutely nothing. At last, my move is done, my old house is sold, the money is in the bank, and with any luck I'll stay in this house for the rest of my life. My move was exciting and adventurous at times, stressful and exhausting at other times, and honestly I'm so happy to be finished, settled, and relaxing happily in my dream house at last. I assure you, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

GoldenTraveler, that 9-10 months is going to speed by so quickly. Good for you to be getting started on the downsizing now, while you still have the time to scan those items. You are making great progress!

NJBoy3, I think we all have a little "hoarder" mentality that we sure don't need if moving! Watching that show sounds like great inspiration for downsizing.

CCc girl, good for you to have downsized even more! When the time comes for this move, you will be SO ready.
