Clayton, MO
This neighborhood is beautiful, green, and not cookie-cutter. Not only would I have a nice, spacious living area, but everything I'd need would be so close. It's right outside a big suburban downtown; scroll to the North and you can see it. It's also close to a prestigious university (Washington University), a light rail station, a huge urban park (Forest Park), and the city limits of St. Louis. It's a perfect mix of suburban & urban living.

Garden city, about 10 miles outside NYC. Gorgeous neighborhood. But then again, I would live in anywhere other than Florida. But on Long Island I would be closer to my family.

I'm not 100% sure, but when I retire. I'll be spending my winters in this general area.. Give or take 100 miles depending on what I can afford at that time.
