almost as unlikely as Miami.

By what measure is Newport Beach the richest city?

I have usually seen Aspen listed with the highest per capita income. Or some place called Jupiter Island in Florida that has a tiny amount of people. Now if we aren't talking per capita clearly NYC has the most money floating around.

It could make sense. Its the Miami metro which includes Palm Beach which has A LOT of very wealthy people. I am surprised NYC is not ahead of Miami. But then NYC metro has a lot more people so I dont know if they did this per captia or not. Anyway Miami has had a HUGE immigration of rich people from Latin America wanting to get them selves and their money out of unstable economies. Also wealthy people from Europe have been doing the same with the shape Europe is in. Miami has a lot of very wealthy people and lots of banks and lots of companies. Is it a surprise YES. But impossible NO.
