Detroit, i would like to see a play, take a stroll along the river and stay at the top of the Ren Cen for a night, the tallest hotel in the western hemisphere.

Detroit? you must be from there am i right? I'm sorry but i went to Detroit once, i will NEVER go back. Its like a big slum. Absolutely hated it, i thought Houston was dangerous, Detroit is something else. Isnt Detroit declining big time? The only reason I would like Detroit is because of the sitcom Martin. lol
Location: I wonder... hmmmmm... maybe... I live somewhere in that pleasant state of VA, Mother of Presidents.

Chicago makes everyone happy. You live the urban lifestyle of the city proper while single and once you have a family, live a typical suburban life in the Chicagoland suburbs. Los Angeles (when I say L.A., I mean West L.A. from Hollywood to the sea [Santa Monica]) is just a nice place to visit; THE antidote to Las Vegas (the strip).
i'd say either fort myers, due to the rather large extense of dirt cheap real estate I have found there, or fort lauderdale, due to rumors of great doctors, more things to do, and a much lower violent crime rate.
