Definitely any state in the South. THe South prides itself on hospitality, relaxation, and less work. Always has. i personally like their idea. Sadly most of us in life cannot afford that lifestyle without having to work our ***** off first to be able to get the foundation necessary to keep us from collapsing into poverty.

i'm not sure how to work this site but i'm just wondering, i'm living here in toronto for all my life 26 years i need a change and i would like to relocate, i'm sick of being surrounded by a majority of fake people, i was hoping that sombody here could direct me to a state in the usa that has jobs in the health care/support worker for the metally delayed and affordable living and last but not least real people with hearts please let me know! thanks.

I do not mean to sound biased, but,I have lived a few years in the south and have found that in the smaller towns many of the people are prejudiced against anyone who is not from the area or is different. Not all of them, but, enough of them to make life among them feel awkward.
I have found that, often as not,the laid back attitude, also.includes a deep seated fear and hatred of change.
So,if one were to consider a move to a southern town, please,do yourself a BIG favor and test the waters, first!

I have lived in Georgia for years and am still trying to find the "laid back attitude" some of you suggest.

^I, along with many forumers from Georgia, are convinced you would be much happier elsewhere.

I suppose I would be, just waiting for my chance to move (when I can afford to do so).
