Flomaton, AL or Century, FL sound like good bets. They're twin cities in a bustling metropolis that straddles the Alabama/Florida state line. Metro Flomaton-Century is growing so fast that Pensacola, FL has essentially become a satellite city, as has Monroeville, AL. By the time the figures from this census are released, I fully expect to see the Flomaton-Century AL-FL MSA become the Flomaton-Century-Pensacola-Monroeville AL-FL CMSA. Expect about 5,000,000 people in the newly-expanded metro area, and a 60% population increase since 2000.

You can find some Southern blue collar guys making really good money, if earning potential is what you're concerned about. So in some coastal Southern locations (Charleston, Savannah, Jacksonville, Mobile, etc.), don't count out those port workers.
