Lots in North Carolina; it's where we all started out. A lot elsewhere. Not adding them up precisely, but I think after NC I have more family in the NYC area and the Bay area of CA than anywhere else.

Miami area - Coconut Grove & Ft Lauderdale
Atlanta
Charlotte - city, Huntersville, Concord
Washington - MD suburbs
NYC - Staten Island, Queens, north NJ and Long Island
Chicago - cousin there lived abroad for years - he worked in Jamaica, Lebanon, Greece, Philippines & Hong Kong; his wife is from Jamaica
Bay Area - San Francisco, San Jose, Hayward, Walnut Creek and Napa CA
Paris, France

The vast majority of my family is in the Detroit area. Family reunions on both sides of the family are packed when held there. A large chunk of my mom's side, which is pretty huge to begin with, is in central Mississippi (Jackson, MS metro). There's also a fairly large segment living in the New Orleans area.

My mom's side is from rural South Central Kentucky. I'd say 30% of them moved to Lexington, 60% are still in Russell/ Casey Counties, and 10% of them live in Elizabethtown or Bowling Green. Nearly all of them moved to Cincinnati or Chicago to find work in the 1950s - 1980s but all of them moved back. My only out of state branch of the family tree is in Philadelphia (one aunt married a guy from there - her brother and him fought together in Vietnam) so I still have her and 5 cousins/ 2nd cousins up there.

My dad's side was from Harlan County, Kentucky but every single one of them moved out by 1970. I'd say 45% moved to Tennessee (Tazewell and Maynardville), another 45% moved to Cincinnati (NW suburbs - College Hill, Hamilton) and the remaining 10% live in around Lexington
