yea but deliverance is fake. sexually violating city folk are not true characteristics of the deep south (or any region). clayton georgia is appalachian, not deep south. big difference

as for preston idaho, potatoes?

I'm actually just going from actual history here, I know there are not man-on-man violating hillbillies in those mountains. But when they were filming Deliverance the town of Clayton, Georgia was damming the Chattooga river. So much like in the story where Aintry, Georgia was damming up the Cahulawassee, it fit the filming.

And Cairo, Illinois is as far north as the south goes.
