Maybe I should go to your area Waterlily. I did check out the temps in Rapid City and it is much cooler there than here and a lot less humidity. I think I am making the right choice by moving there.

Even up here in Michigan its hot and humid. Last Thursday was a nightmare, thought I was in Louisana not the upper midwest. In 6 months it will be 20 below with 2 foot of snow on the ground.

FLAboyJ, glad to here you love it so much. I lived in Pensacola and hated it most of the times. Ironically I hate it for the same reasons you love it.....different strokes for sure.

102 record breaker in Denver today; I believe it was 98 in Boulder. Supposed to be in the 90s for the next 5 days. This is not unusual.

I would go insane if I lived close to the Gulf. 90s at 7AM? Forget it, I'm not going outside at all! The humidity is inhumanly high down there, which makes it worse.

Typical high this time of year is in the low 90s, but so far this summer, the typical highs have been in the mid 90s. It's crappy either way, though. I stay inside during the summers here like the cold-intolerant up north do during winter.
