Young professional committed couple here, we currently reside in the NYC Metro area, and am looking for a place to relocate. We are fortunate to have few responsibilities as such, so we have the freedom to move wherever. Price isn't the largest concern at the moment, at least in our initial search. We want to move because we grew up in two of the most obnoxious (Westchester and Fairfield) counties, and want to raise our children in a much more "homier" place. We are both down to earth and just want to live in a safe town with polite people Any suggestions? We liked the Minneapolis and Nashville suburbs the most so far in our search, and would love to hear more suggestion, and would love to answer more questions that would help us find our home.
What about Upstate NY? There are plenty of areas with that feel in suburban communities. Check out the bigger metros up here or even some of the smaller metros.
