Until they start tagging people (which I hope they don't) or at least start recording the information for the census at birth or entry, there's no way that all legal citizens will be counted, much less illegals.

Some people shouldn't be allowed to do the census. Was dealing with one worker and he didn't understand **** I was saying and kept repeating the same questions. I just got tired and hung up in his face.

Mexicans make up about 65% of the Hispanic population in the US. And to add Mexico is most populated Spanish speaking country and literally bordering the USA. With that being said, its understandable why Mexicans are the dominant Hispanic population in most of south and SW. This seem to be the cast in the Midwest too, with Puerto Ricans coming in a far second. Illinois is 15.3% Hispanic(12.1% Mexican).

Latino population in the US in 2008 :
Mexican : 30,746,000
Puerto Rican : 4,151,000
Cuban : 1,631,000
Salvadoran : 1,560,000
Dominican : 1,334,000
Guatemalan : 986,000
Colombian : 882,000
Spaniard : 630,000
Honduran : 608,000
Ecuadorian : 591,000
Peruvian : 519,000
Nicaraguan : 352,000
Venezuelan : 210,000
Argentinean : 205,000
Other : 2,417,000

What do you think of these numbers ?
The Mexican American population is impressive, Irish Americans and German Americans will be surpassed soon !
Other latino ethnicities are represented well, but a more diversified latino pop would be a good thing I think....The US should welcome more immigrants from Guatemala, Honduras, Salvador, Nicaragua, Peru, Venezuela,Ecuador and Colombia.

You could have refused to deal with him/ request another enumerator. He IS supposed to follow a script but he isn't supposed to ignore what you were saying either.

Westbank:
You are right, some illegals didn't want to talk no matter how much we told them we were not immigration. Some legals were just stubborn and just refused to answer.

I had already dealt with 2 other people and gave them my information. If they didn't get it the first two times; it's their problem. It's not my fault his English was bad.

Nope, the first time I spoke to them in Houston. The second time I was in Waco when they came to my parents house and they asked me a few questions. The third time they called me and I told them I already did it, but the dude kept asking questions and I just hung up.
