I'm quite the nice guy. And I've made friends and acquaintances in Greater Cincy, thank you very much. But I get tired of encountering customer service people and customers themselves in my line of work that act they are doing you a favor just by being in your presence. Few are overtly hateful, but many have passive-aggressive anger issues.

I live in the South in a small town. Someone really needs to bury that "slower pace of life" cliche. A slower pace of life has to do with the person living it, not the place. I'm in my middle years, working full-time, single mom with two kids, I can assure you, my life is not "slow-paced". My mother is retired. Her life is "slow-paced". And Mayberry? Well, I hate to break it to people, but the 50's and 60's are gone never to return. And oh yeah, that was a T.V. show. You know, not REAL life.
