The proper term is illegal alien.

Immigrants are legal, by default, hence you can't call illegals "immigrants".

Cookeville, Tennessee. Pop. 30,000. Home of Tennessee Tech, 11,000 students. An hour from Nashville. Gorgeous countryside with lakes, waterfalls, rolling hills. It's a growing community that, according to the American Chamber of Commerce, is one of the most affordable cities in the country. Tennessee also has among the lowest tax burdens in the country. Cookeville is also the smallest town in America to have its own forum here at city-data; it's very popular for those seeking a quieter pace of life yet want the creature comforts of larger towns.
