We considered moving out west (we were in NC) and did a lot of research (and decided not to move that far)

Anyway....I was very interested in Idaho. Some areas had lots of growth, and if you look at the weather patters, it didn't have the horrid winters you get in parts of MT and SD.

We LOVED Colorado, but I didn't want to have to live paycheck to paycheck to live in a beautiful area!

thank you vetegnc we are trying to get away from the paycheck to paycheck thing also, something i never had to do in wisconsin. As far as the weather, i want cold and snow because i love the outdoors and i do them during all seasons. Here in phoenix i wouldnt eat a fish from these filthy rivers and in order for me i have to drive 100 miles to do the other things i love.
When i lived back home , i lived within a mile of 5 lakes that were clean enough that you could see the bottom even in 20 feet of water, here you are lucky if you can see bottom in 6 inches of water.
