MLB: Minnesota Twins
NFL: Minnesota Vikings
NHL: Minnesota North Stars (I stopped watching the NHL after they left even though hockey is my favorite sport)
NBA: Don't care but I guess I like the T-Wolves to do well
NCAA: Wisconsin Badgers
I live in Denver, grew up in Southern CA, and spent childhood summers in Western WA:
-The Seattle Mariners are my MLB team, but I currently follow the Rockies as well. I watched a lot of Dodgers and Angels games (and to a lesser extent Braves, Cubs, and White Sox. Thank you TBS and WGN) on TV growing up.
-I'm a pretty big Denver Nuggets fan currently, but followed the Lakers and Clippers as a kid.
-I watch the NFL, and currently follow the Broncos with a degree of passiveness, but was a Rams fan growing up.
-I have a mild interest in the NHL, and currently follow the Avs with a passive interest. Was a LA Kings fan growing up (never followed the Ducks).
MLB: I live in Seattle and root for the White Sox and Mariners. Lately, it's been much easier to root for the Sox than the Mariners.
MLS: I also root for the Sounders FC. Yes, I like football (or what folks who love hand-egg annoyingly refer to as "soccer").
NFL: For hand-egg, I root for the Bears. Whenever their management aren't screwing up and quarterbacks aren't choking in the Superbowl.
NBA: I honestly stopped caring once the Bulls stopped winning and MJ quit. It was a magical time growing up in Chicago in the 90s. The people who replaced MJ as all-stars are, in my opinion, bump and grunt gansta wannabe's.
Though, I do like Phil Jackson and in my heart silently root for the Lakers

NFL: Carolina Panthers
NHL: don't care much like the Carolina Hurricanes
NBA: Detroit Pistons
NCAA: Virginia Tech Hokies and Louisville Cardinals
If you are speaking in terms of the teams people primarily follow in the area:
NFL: Bills and Giants, in that order, but some Jets, Eagles, Steelers and Patriots fans. It seems like younger people like the Bills and older folks like the Giants more.
NBA: Knicks
MLB: Yankees, with some Mets, Red Sox, Phillies and Blue Jay fans
NHL: Sabres and Rangers, with some Devils, Islanders and Bruins fans. Maybe some Canadiens and Flyers fans too.
College: Syracuse University sports.....
