Good for them.

I think everyone is so fixed on Disney World or Universal now, that they forget there is alot to see in other parts of the country.

Good for Cedar Point. That park deserves the honor. The "Roller Coast" is my favorite too.

I've never been there, but I've heard only a few things. I was thinking about taking a weekend trip to Sandusky, OH, but I've been on the road a lot lately and have to get real excited at the prospect before I can justify another endless stretch through Pennsylvania.

For another great amusement park: The Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia.

I don't think it's suprising. They are really great parks. It cracks me up everytime people visit Ohio and realize how great it is here. From our state parks, our extremely underrated cities, great cost of living, and friendly people.

Cedar Point, Sandusky, and the Lake Erie Islands are a fun place. Lots of good times!

Cedar Point itself sits out away from the mainland connected by a large causeway. Lots of great hotels along the beach right next to the park.

The city of Sandusky is home of some of the best and largest indoor waterparks in the country.

The Lake Erie Islands have been called the "Keywest of the Midwest." Lots of party spots, and you can get to them by ferries or the thousands of boaters that are out there on a warm summer day.
