Pinellas County doesn't even have 1 million living there. And it even lost population this past census! I would never guess that such a pleasant place to live would have lost people well before the baby boomers start to die off.

Miami will be more populated that most might expect because South American immigrants don't mind living in high rises. Frankly, most of Miami's population growth will come from infill high density housing in the coming decades. There just isn't enough room to grow otherwise.
