Need help deciding pros and cons of moving to either Tampa or Atlanta. All comments welcome. I'd appreciate greatly those who have done it and succeeded. Thanks!

you should go with Tampa.
Tampa is a really nice city with a pop with 334,550 making it the third largest city.
its home to bush gardens and one of the best zoos in the nation.
Tampa bay is awesome which is great for boating and fishing and there is certainly a lot of nightlife in Tampa.

I spent most of my life in Tampa and I think its a great place to live. I recently lived in St pete, which is just across the bridge, and was happy to be back in the area. Most people who move their now pretty much buy in Brandon, New Tampa, or Lutz. Houses are more affordable there and pretty new. There are tons of things to do and nice beaches are about an hour drive away. If you need any more info about Tampa, I'd be happy to give it.

I'm currently in Key West now and headed to upstate NY. Its a big change.

don't pick Atlanta it is crime ridden and very dumpy. Tampa i don't know much about, but if your from NYC and want to keep up big city life, I would doubt that Tampa would be right. stay in New York, or choose a different(other than the options)city.
