when it comes to bloods and crips it pretty much shows how powerful nyc is. Even with the unrelated bloods and crips in nyc. nyc still manages to make them spread. Ny bloods can be found all over the east, downsouth , and some midwest cities. I find it funny that seeing how people like to comment on how fake nyc bloods are but none of these non new york cities has ever stopped the ny bloods from taking turf in their hometowns(as far as stories go anyway).

As for crips in nyc. Crips in nyc started more as a immigrant thing then just people stealing the culture. The first crip in nyc was a Belizean native who was loc from L.A he also helped form the Honduran mafia crip in Harlem. So the crips in nyc started as typical immigrant gang protection at first.

also as for gangland lol. gangland is pure bs i officially knew it was bs when i watched the top 6 Haitian gang episode. Those gangland people stole youtube pics and clips to make their documentary , and all the pics they stole was from a west palm beach hood dvd which means half those guys they were glamorizing probably were not Haitian at all.

Default boredatwork

The fact you call yourself a gang shows your weak.....you join something to be apart of something that wont get you anywhere but dead or a record.....To be apart of a gang means you represent something foolish and you live by somebody else's rules and commands....THAT will never happen in DC ...No foreign gang will infiltrate anything in the area without a civil war .....Even MS 13 one the strongest gangs stays way out in the suburbs of Mont county and fairfax va bc they cant get a foothold in the city...might do business here and there but never pushes around wieght ...

I think philly might be another city with no gangs. At least none of the major ones from L.A. or Chicago.

Even NYC doesn't have the gang culture that is so pervasive in Los Angeles and Chicago. For the modern definition of organized street gang, it is a relatively new phenomenon to NYC since the late 1980s. It has also not spread to middle class areas like in LA and Chicago.

Most of the street crews in DC are about making money by any means possible. The whole gang thing is a foreign concept to them. If you live on 9th and Kennedy, you could have a beef with 7th and Kennedy just two blocks over. Bloods and Crips never got a foothold in DC because they would have to deal with too many loosely knit hoods across the city. Plus it would be too hard to identify your enemies. Everyone wears northface and nike boots. They guy walking up the street could be a Metro employee going to the store or someone coming to kill you. You just never know.

New York bloods? I'm sorry but I never heard of them nor have I ever heard of them establishing territory when I lived in DC. I know they won't go to Chicago because they simply can't and if there are bloods in Texas, they most likely came from LA. I never heard of NY bloods being found in other cities. Interesting.
