pwright1, that's a gorgeous picture! I've never been to the PNW, so I'm curious -- how far (distance & driving time) is Mt. Rainier NP from Seattle? How "involved" (for lack of a better word) is Mt. Rainier in the Seattle life?

I think this image sums up Downtown Scranton pretty well. It is quite obvious that after decades of deep decline following the collapse of the anthracite mining industry, the city's core is starting to bounce back to life.

I was clicking everyone right and left giving positive post points because all the pictures are so great! Many of you are quite a bit younger than I, hence you have better "online" skills. I have yet to learn how to post a picture, but boy do I enjoy looking at y'all's pictures. Very, very fun, and a good way to "see" places. Keep them coming!

It takes a little over 2 hours. Its a beautiful drive through mostly one lane curvey roads.
