Ok I'm looking for a somewhere to live for the next 2-5 years in the Western half of the United States, more specifically Colorado, California, Oregon, Washington, or NevadaBUT NOT Arizona, Utah, New Mexico(been there done that). I've done so much research I think my head will explode, and now I'm turning to this board for help. What am I looking for in a city? Well, I'm glad you asked...
*Decent rent (I'm 21, and my brother, whom I'm moving with is 20, and the income we pull in will reflect as much)
*Great climate (mountainous, and dry climate with snowfall come winter would be choice but open to the possibilities of gloomier weather, but what we consider a good time is outdoors- snowboarding, dirt bikes, or maybe cliff diving at a lake or something)
*Good community college system (once again income, gotta start small to work up to the university level)
*Nightlife/Culture- we're youngins so the party scene is kinda blatant haha and on culture not asking for LA or SF but we kinda want to stay away from the whole retirement community/ family setting vibe.
*Bonus Points: Proximity to good places to snowboard or lakes, both are licensed skydivers so any DZ's woud be great, and motorcycle friendly.
Not expecting any help, but thanks in advance if any of you do come thru!
If it was me I'd say Denver, but for you i'd say somewhere in SW Colorado
