Chicago has ignored the growing problem of an inadequate antiquated crumbling transportation system for so many years it would be laughable if I didn't have to take it to work every day. This is a problem that should not overwhelm the city, and if they get the Olympics and don't fix it before then, they will be the laughingstock of the world.

The larger issues of crime and poverty are not as easily fixed as realizing that one doesn't build a subway station in 1896, renovate it in the 60's, let it sit elevated in the elements of a Chicago winter for 40 years, and the wonder why it is falling apart. C'mon folks it isn't that hard to figure out.

I think Denver, CO, just like many other cities, are not taking the issue of illegal immigration seriously enough.

It is becoming a very large problem as a lot of income for the illegals are untaxed, while services provided by the city are increasing. The resources are depleting at very high rates and I highly fear where all of this is going.

Portland Oregon does not take steps to adequately address the problems of homeless young drug addicts.
