You could also probably put Western Pennsylvania in this group, too. Anywhere along I79 from West Virginia, through Pittsburgh, up to Erie is having similar problems (with a few exceptions, of course). It seems that everyone is always saying how Pittsburgh is "on the rebound" and is "reinventing itself," but people are still leaving, good jobs are still hard to come by, and the area needs major work. Hopefully, all of these areas will improve. There are a lot of great people, a lot of history, and a lot of beautiful scenery.
