I rrrrrrrrrrreally enjoy watching some of the old TV PROMOS for our local television stations in Cleveland ... it's hysterical and is also sometimes
"profoundly touching" to once again reconnect with various news anchors and reporters, many of which are long gone. Seeing the old "sets" and how the news desks appeared "so hip and modern for their era" ... way before our present day modern graphics and Doppler radar systems.

Go to YOUTUBE and post some "retro" tv spots from your local media outlets, I'm sure it would be a blast ...

Here are several from various Cleveland TV affiliates ... SOME GOOD TIMES IN CLEVELAND, seeing these old tv spots again!

WEWS - Eyewitness News TV 5 ( ABC affilate ) First television station in Ohio - 1947

Early 1970's Promo ( Love the hip "psychadelic theme" )

1978 Newscast Opener

1985 Newscast Opener

1985 Promo

1985 "Catch 5" Promo

WKYC - "Action 3 News" TV 3 ( NBC Affiliate )

1983 "Turn to 3" Promo

1983 "turn to 3" Promo ( 2nd version )

1993 Newscast Opener

WJW - TV 8 ( FOX Affiliate, once a CBS station )

1984 "Newscenter 8" Open

1988 Newscast Open ( GOTTA LUV THE BIG HAIR OF THE '80s )

2008 Newscast Open

"Big Chuck & Li'l John Show" - Late nite movie marathons "Open"
