Let me start off by saying I love Chicago

but yes the southside and westside as well gets bashed on here BUT I'd say its 50-50 of people speaking positively and people speaking negatively. Plus many people will actually go to Chicago before talking s***

Detroit as a whole gets bashed probably more than ANY city. on C-D as well as in reality. Did you see NBC little program on Detroit? smh We don't get media attention for anything other than the typical crime, blight, abandonment etc etc People will even get offended if a Detroiter doesn't hate the city smh

and most of the people who talk have never set foot in Detroit

People from DC don't seem to care because it's such a transient area. nobody here in DC is from DC.

And people from new york get defensive if you praise Boston. it's like an unspoken rule that if you're from new york, you must hate boston.
i actually love boston.. maybe its because im haitian american.
