Interesting. It appears that many people are rating the northern tier and rural states as having a more introverted population overall. I agree on that point.
I'm also an INFP... yeah I feel pretty disconnected from mainstream american culture, corporate rat race culture, etc.
I'm an INFP too and I don't feel like this is the country for me. I don't think Oregon and Washington really fit INFP anymore, they've become way too corporate and yuppie. I feel like I'd do better somewhere like Minnesota or Wisconsin.
I'm from Illinois, and IMO my state is ENTP. Lots of big ideas but terrible at following through on them, good at scamming and deceiving its residents, capable of being both playfully warm and violently cold, and less organized than a junkyard.
I'm an INTP, though.
