We are looking for a place to move in the Southeast US that has good medical (early retirees here, but a few years away from medicare), great real estate bargains right now, and is tolerant and gay-friendly. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks...we've got some driving to do this spring I guess. We've spent a lot of time in Asheville and Atlanta, but not Savannah, Charleston or anywhere in SC. The real key is the price of real estate. We'd love to find a real deal area like we have out this way in Phoenix and Las Vegas, or some places in Florida. More bang for the retirement buck so to speak.
