You'll love Asheville, NC. Beautiful nature life, and is a great city to raise a family in. Knoxville, TN too great history there.

New Hampshire. If you can embrace ( i.e. find a hobby ) during the winter.

Lowest tax burden.
Great hunting.
Close to NYC and Boston.
Freest state.
Beautiful.
Abundance of water.

Thanks Momtogrif, I think you and I are cut from the same cloth (except you being from the East Coast and me from So. Cal) I'll check out Arkansas, I'm betting it's probably too small for us. My hubby is Puerto Rican/Colombian from the Bronx and is also complete with full sleeves (tattoos) so he gets a lot of stares. He's actually very clean cut, but recently he was in Medford Or for two weeks on a job, and was very uncomfortable LOL at this point I just feel trapped in Vegas.
