It is about 750 miles to St. Louis. It can be driven in a day. We've done it.

People from Ohio are almost as fanatical about their state as Texans. The sunshine blowers posting all the great things about Virginia and North Carolina would be forced to retreat if Ohio natives could think of more than one password (football) to access this forum.

My husband is from Ohio and I am from Missouri. We are moving to Wisconsin, hopefully after the new year. You can't go wrong anywhere in the Midwest. We are out east and hate it. In our town if you don't have one of the 6-7 last names that everyone has they won't give you the time of day. We have a place near Bayfield and that is where we are heading.
I would say:
WISCONSIN
MN
OHIO
IL
MISSOURI
MICHIGAN
