Living in a city that is predominatley white, people here are not racist at all. At least not towards blacks. If anything people go out of their way to be nice to blacks, which I think would come across as annoying, but I guess it's better than being discriminated against. There are a lot of Latinos and they're mostly treated at least as good as white people because there are so many everyone is used to them.

Idaho is mostly white, yes, espaecially up North. There is a pretty large Latino population throughout Southern Idaho, especially in the West Treasure Valley (Nampa & Caldwell), Twin Falls, and in East Idaho. Pocatello has a very large Blackfoot, Bannock, and Shoshone population.

There are THOUSANDS of small towns throughout America that are 95% white or more. There are even a lot of towns 10,000-50,000 that are 95%+ white. Its not that hard to believe since America is still 75%+ white.
Also Atlanta is closer to 60% black than 80%, thats more like Detroit, and Atlanta is getting less black and more white, not the other way around. As far as mostly white big cities and metros: Boston, Denver, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Omaha, Des Moines, Portland, Seattle, Columbus, Green Bay, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Buffalo and a lot more. Also most metros across the US are mostly white, even the Detroit metro is mostly white. Cities and metros with a very large Black population are (not majority though): Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, Cleveland, St. Louis, Atlanta, Memphis, only a few more.

Although City-Data says Denver is 51.9% white, it was announced last fall that it is now "majority-minority", meaning over 50% minority.

Saw very few ethnicities in these cities. Not for sure if they're 98% white.
