Pros (IMO):
-Better for exercising outdoors
-Easier to sleep because less daylight
-Holiday season
-I live in GA so the few inches of snow we get are usually pleasant

Cons (IMO):
-Easier to get sick
-Windy
-Lack of daylight means you get less done during the day
-Chapped lips and skin (b/c of the wind)

So answering the question, I do enjoy winter but not as much as summer which is my favorite season. I think if I didn't experience a change of seasons, I would grow old of the same weather.

I love winter, as in a real winter with snow and everything. Where I live winter is when the temperature doesn't get above 65.

No.
Here it's really cold and dry.
Much preferred winter back in MD but I don't really like it at all.

I have never really been a big Johnny Winter fan.

Yeah, I'd rather even have it dark all the way to 10am or so, and then have evenings longer.

In December in Chicago Sunrise is around ~7am, while Sunset is ~4:20 p.m. I'd much rather have it sunrise at 10am, Sunset at 7:20p.m. Even if they left it alone entirely, much better at 8am and 5:20 ...

I love winter, and sadly I live in a place where winter is considered 65F, which in Oregon would be considered picnic weather.
I hope to get out of here and move some place with actual seasons.

I absolutely LOVE Winter. At least the winters up here in the PNW. Sure, it's cold, grey, and rains constantly... but that's why I love it. People think I'm weird, I could care less. I lived in the desert for a decade and they can keep that climate. I'm way over it. I'll take 5-6 months of cold, wet, grey skies over 5-6 months of dusty blast furnace conditions any day. The weather was one of the main reasons I moved to this part of the country.

However, I don't think I could deal with Great Lakes-level winters. I've been to Minnesota in February before, where the mercury doesn't ever go above zero for weeks on end, and that was a bit brutal.

I get not loving winter but I don't get loving summer as your favorite season.....in Georgia! That's like me -- a former Minnesotan -- loving winter as my favorite season and saying that summer can be too hot and sticky at times.
