USA Today's circulation number is bogus -- they include all those papers that all the hotels leave outside each door every morning. Even if nobody picks up a single paper and reads it, their circulation will still be huge.

EDIT: Surprising how far the gap is between the WSJ and NYT.

I'm surprised the Plain Dealer scored higher than the St. Louis Post Dispatch. Oh well...I guess the St. Louis Post Dispatch has declined since it was bought out by different people...my mother quit there because she couldn't stand them as did many other people before they could get laid off....my mother said the new owners were the biggest ***holes she'd ever worked for.

Quantity of no mark of quality, which explains why USA Yesterday, Detroit Free Press, and Portland Oregonian are on there.

The "general news" section of my website bookmarks sports > 150 sites, including major dailies for Australia, Britain, Canada, and Texas. I have no idea why I would ever need to know the sites for the Erie, Gary, and Port Huron papers within ten seconds. You never know when a mall will go out of business or when a Canadian gunman will unleash all mayhem.

I see it's been lumped at the bottom along with the Dallas Morning News for ABC Censure.
