Yeah...say goodbye to your oil & gas (it really would be astronomical for a gallon of gas then so Obumer better start planning quickly) as well as thousands of other goods that come through the Houston Ship Channel each & every day.
The astronauts on the space station would also be left without guidance home via Mission Control in Houston.
This is all hypothetically speaking of course.
Saying good bye to our dependency on fossil fuel would be one of the best things that ever happened to this country. The Port of Houston is hardly the only major port of entry...Miami, Baltimore, Newark and LA come to mind. Mission Control in Houston? Really? Like that could never be replicated elsewhere. If that's the binding argument for keeping Texas, we're okay. Really.
We don't need astronauts to survive, we don't need your port, and the fuels have us in a bad situation as it is. Seeya! (sorry to those modest Texans... you guys aren't that bad.)

Well actually Matt, the Texas flag looks very similar to Chile's flag and yes, Chile's flag came first.
Back on topic,
It's kind of hard to revamp the red-white-blue color scheme as a lot of other countries use it. Though I do think the U.S. flags needs revamping, I kinda like the two in the middle.
Don't Ya'll know you can't improve on perfection. Not a question...a statement.
