OK, whatever. But I know that these communities do not fit the same criteria as the ones we discussed. Just because there are a few black people with a little money does not mean that these communities in Philly, such as Mt. Airy, are affluent mostly black communities. Split hairs all you want. I'm done.
In the Philadelphia area, while census tract 202500 in Cheltenham Township is 58% Black and has/had a median household income of $66,546(5,850 people); it has 2 census block groups that fit the criteria and within a very good school district. Census block group 202500-1(in Wyncote) is 81.74% Black with 1,220 people and has/had a median household income of $117,313(10-14 info). Census block group 202500-3(in Glenside) is 61.77% Black with 933 people and has/had a median household income of $113,264.
Student enrollment in the Cheltenham SD is pluralistically, if not predominately now, Black.
The median income for a family in CC Hills is $38,577. The median income for a family in Illinois is $49,280. And get this, the median income for a black family in the United States is $40,685. That's more than the median income in CC Hills.
The only reason why CC Hills has even been mentioned in this thread is because of its close proximity to Flossmoor and Olympia Fields and someone from the East Coast heard "county club" in the name. When a there's a tripple homicide by gun in the street and a SWAT team is brought in, you're only making Black Americans look bad if you put this neighborhood on a pedestal.
For the record, I don't think CC Hills is a bad place to live. I'd stick out like a sore thumb in CC Hills but I'd still rather live there than several other places in the southland I'll leave unnamed.
According to 2010-2014 census information, Country Club Hills is 83.78% Black out of 16,752 people. Its median household income is $60,100($61,458 for Black households, $61,497 for the Chicago metro and $57,166 for IL for the same time period). So, it appears to be a straight middle class, predominately Black community. In its SE corner/portion of the community, the median household income is in the $70-84,000 range.

For Detroit, the neighborhoods detroitlove mentioned are the neighborhoods you are talking about. Lathrop Village in the Detroit suburbs might be a good example, but it might be even between Blacks and Whites.
Cleveland has parts of Bedford and Shaker Heights, among some other places.
Lathrup Village is 68.48% Black out of 4,109 people. Its median household income is/was $82,396($74,808 for Black households, $52,305 for the Detroit metro and $49,087 for MI according to 2010-2014 info). It is in the Southfield-Lathrup portion of the Southfield SD.
This has absolutely zero relevance to this thread.
This thread is about affluent Black communities and apart from a few neighborhoods in the Los Angeles area, the only place I know of in the entire West that has neighborhoods which are both predominantly Black and affluent, is Oakland.
Here is one example: Chabot Park Average Household Income: $123,738
There are a couple of census tracts by the zoo that are examples of this(Sequoyah and Chabot Park). Census tract 410000 has a median household income of $107,113 and is 40.58% Black out of 3260 people(10-14 info). It was 49.7% in 2010. Census block group 410000-2 is 66.68% Black out of 2,191 people and has a median household income of $110,262.
Census tract 409900 has a median household income of $104,410 and is 45.98% Black(was 54.1%, 3308 people in 2010) out of 3,321 people(10-14 info). This tract has a couple of block groups that are predominantly Black with 6 figure median incomes. Block group 409900-2 is 53.54% Black with a median household income of $131,154(about 620 people). Block group 409900-4 is 59.63% Black and has a median household of $117,114(about 900 people). Block group dash 1 is pluralistically more Black at 42.54% Black with a median household income of $115,250(785 people).
Missouri City is indeed more middle class than upper class.
Missouri City's median household income(2010-2014 info) is $84,662($81,540 for Black households, $58,689 for the Houston metro and $52,576 for TX). It is/was 43.47% Black for that time period, which is the biggest group in plurality out of 69,152 people. It has a few predominantly Black, middle class census tracts in its far northern/NE neighborhoods.

Uniondale is not affluent at all. It's one of the poorest towns on Long Island.
Uniondale's median household income according to 2010-2014 info is/was $71,953($82,335 for Black households, $66,902 for the NYC metro, $58,687 for NYS and $98,401 for Nassau County). Nassau County is one of the most affluent counties in the country. It is/was 50.37% Black out of 24,787 people. Its only predominantly Black census tract(almost all of the others are more Black in plurality) is/was 58% Black and has/had a median household income of $73,472(census tract 407502). Block group 407502-2 is its most affluent at 59%(a little over 1000 people) Black and a median household income of $97,083.
I used to live in Bloomfield CT as a kid. My family and I were almost always the only white people in a store.
Bloomfield is 55.17% Black out of 20,626 people(10-14 info). Its median household income for that period was $73,519($67,500 for Black households, $68,959 for the Hartford metro and $69,899 for CT).

While maybe not affluent, there are parts of Philadelphia south of West Cheltenham Ave in parts of East/West Oak Lane and Olney that are predominantly Black and could/would be considered to be middle class as well.
There is also a census tract in the far SE corner of Cheltenham Township that is more Black in plurality(census tract 202202 is about 38% Black with about 3200 people) and has a median household income of $100,650(10-14 info). So, there are some potential options on both sides of West Cheltenham Avenue.
There is a census block group in the Elkins Park area of Abington that comes close(about 36% Black and a median household income of $127,626 with 1700 people).

There are a couple of census block groups in the Randallstown/Owings Mills area of Baltimore County that are predominantly Black and have 6 figure median household incomes. Block group 402504-2 just west of Randallstown is 77.4% Black out of about 2000 people and has a median household income of $126,167. Block group 492401-2 in Ownings Mills is 65.4% Black out of about 1800 people has a median household income of $100,625. Another census block group in that area(402509-1 just north of Randallstown HS) is 82.8% Black out of just under 3000 people has a median household income of $108,140.
Census tract 402603 (near McDonough HS/in and just north of NE Randallstown) is 76.4% Black out of 6150 people and has a median household of $105,104($108,713 for Black households, $70,311 for the Baltimore metro and $74,149 for MD, 10-14 info).
