When will the census website update with 2010 data? How many more states are left in not releasing their data? All they have is ACS 2009 estimates on the official site, which are way off for my state at least. Luckily sun-times(Chicago local news paper) already have racial and population data for every Illinois community, but I'm a bit anxious to know how we fared in economics and education.

The old FactFinder site on Census.gov is being EOL'd in favor of a new platform here:

American FactFinder

There you will find all of the 2010 information compiled for the States that have been released. Unfortunately it's usability sucks balls.

As for you second question, data all States must be released no later than April 1st. There are 20 or so States remaining to be released.

That's an understatement.

I'm sure it made sense to the person who created it. I'm sure it makes sense to someone.

I've tried to use it multiple times, and either they haven't added the data to the site, or it's so horrible to navigate more so than I originally thought.

There's absolutely nothing intuitive about FactFinder. I'll just wait for Wikipedia to update their stuff.
