That my native state, Delaware, is not completely urban:

I wish more people knew that New York City is NOT just Manhattan. They may have some vague idea that Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island, and Brooklyn exist, but they don't know that most New Yorkers actually live in these places and that they have little resemblance to what people see on Law & Order, Sex and the City, or Seinfeld. There are loads of neighborhoods in NYC with wide swaths of suburban style housing where people drive cars most of the time, kids go to local neighborhood schools, and people have backyard barbecues. There are tons of small and low rise apartments outside of Manhattan without doormen and that dont cost $2500 a month for one room. There are poor neighborhoods but also thriving middle class ones outside of Manhattan. Leave the core and its not too different from the rest of America.

I didn't know anyone thought that. I always think of Delaware as reasonably rural and that it's New Castle County which is fairly urban and Kent and Sussex are far less so.
There are plenty of regular people here going about their business and most of the freaks/weirdos/irritating types moved here from some other part of the US (so don't blame the natives).

LOL, this made me laugh.
