Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has been a good alcalde of Los Angeles since more light-rail\ subway projects have been started under his leadership. Villaraigosa is a liberal Democrat & with the archbishop of LA, he confronted Arizona over the immigration law by imposing a boycott; some Republicans hate him.

The mayor of Dallas is a socially liberal Republican. There arent too many of those around. I like him because he is very pro-gay rights and pro-diversity, yet hes fiscally responsible.

Richard "Corrupt" Daley (Chicago): 1 out of 10

Anniese Parker (Houston): 3 out of 10

Austin- No idea who the mayor is

Washington DC has a mayor I see, what an irrelevant job being the mayor to a city where the president resides and authorizes. LOL your job must feel like a total joke then.

That is all.

Some say that Newsom got elected to lieutenant governor merely on his looks.

Kwame's no longer our mayor, though.

As a resident of Detroit's East Side, I'll give our current mayor, David Bing, an 8.

He's done a good job of cleaning up government corruption, which was huge here in Detroit. He's bringing new and exciting things to Detroit, like a light rail line on Woodward Avenue, the city's main street.

I'm excited to see what else he can bring to Detroit!

You don't live in the City of LA You should thank God too for that one.

Tony V...I rate him 7/10 on his womanizing abilities. How the hell do you constantly get caught cheating on your wife? Come on dude, you can do a MUCH better job. Do men lie with less accuracy as they get older? If they do, I'm so screwed! (Not that I'd cheat on my significant other). However, he gets a 7 because damn....some REALLY good looking females he's been with. I don't know how they would be on a personal level..but I'm figuring he doesn't either!

In terms of public policy, I give him a 4. While he did push for the LA 30/10 (a HUGE plus) plan, he's also cut back a lot of spending on essential public services. It's nice to know that my local public library closes on enough days of the week for school children to NOT do their homework. He also lacks a coherent economic vision, which is why the city of LA got hit hard with a budget problem. There is not one week that goes by and some union DOESN'T protest in front of city hall.
