I am looking for a list of US cities that have the same name but are in more than one place.

example, their are 18 Canton's in the USA.

If anyone has such a list, I would be grateful.

There are cities/towns named Trenton in at least 20 states.

Several Beauforts, around 10 Miamis, at least 3 Greensboros, a few Durhams, a few Bostons. There aren't many states lacking a Greenville or Greeneville. 2 Minneapolises that I know of (MN and NC), 2 Dallases (TX and NC), 2 Denvers (CO and NC). Several Fayettevilles and Lafayettes: something is named after Lafayette in some way or another in most states.

How about Centerville/Centreville?

It might be easier to list the states that don't have a Centerville.

But it's not as common as Riverside, which appears in all but four states (Louisiana, Oklahoma, Alaska, Hawaii)

There are three Burlingtons that are big enough to have professional minor league baseball teams. Iowa, North Carolina and Vermont.

Also, Salem (Oregon and Virginia) and Winston Salem (NC) have minor league teams.

^ There is also a Burlington, CO, although it is quite smaller.

Aurora, CO and Aurora, IL are both big suburbs of their respective urban centers.
