British Airways will be carrying more than 250,000 people into London next week ahead of the Royal Wedding celebrations.

The event is proving a huge draw for tourists from the USA in particular, with the top six busiest routes into London proving to be New York, Boston, Washington, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco.

Scotland leads the way for shorthaul travel with flights from Edinburgh and Glasgow very full. France and Germany are the next most popular with inbound flights from Paris, Nice, Munich and Berlin

We're leaving in the morning. I'm half British and have a lot of family in England, so I'm definitely excited to go back and visit.

I would rather blow my money away in Vegas than watch two spoiled brats getting married.

I find it funny American actually care so much about the royal wedding. Are people really that shallow?

That's awesome.

Im going as a Lord-in-Waiting for a South Pacific monarch.

Basically a servant. It took a lot of wrangling cause its a privilege given to noblemen but no noble is as powerful as Benjamin Franklin(s) LOL.

Or you could donate to Japan, where thousands are still dead and missing, instead.

I'm not sure it's an "either/or" situation. And are you saying nobody should go on vacation because of the disaster in Japan?

Note, I don't care one whit about the "royal wedding", but I don't understand what your post has to do with this topic.

I wouldn't walk across the street if they rolled a red carpet across it for me to go.
