Obviously. For how many generations of immigrants Statue of Liberty was the first glimpse of the New World... Visit Ellis Island, the museum there is incredible. I think New York wins, with United Nations headqaurtered here there is virtually no nationality that is not represented in the city.

bla bla bla... I was just speaking in terms of what i've read about my neighborhood but i couldn't even tell you how many different types of nationalities of friends i have from different countries. You the type of person that if i told you i had a friend from Iceland then you would brag about how you read about a guy in queens from Antarctica. You boasting about queens means nothing unless you actually interact with the people you claim the fame about.

Your right about Uptown being considered the most diverse, but that was also in terms of income and the young and elderly as well. I was just talking about Rogers Park being 30% white, 30% spanish, 30% black, and 10% asian which was actually ethnically more diverse than Uptown. But these basic "ethnic" categories don't even begin to explain the origins of geographic location the people in my neighborhood come from.

What about if we live in Queens and see this diversity for ourselves?

San Diego is always forgotten, you can drive from downtown san diego to downtown Tijuana in 15 minutes they are sister cities and TJ metro has 3 million people, it would probably take longer to get from anywhere in Manhattan to Queens than SD to TJ. Plus San Diego is a military town so everytime there is a "global conflict" that country sends there refugees to San Diego. There are huge populations of southeast Asians (Vietnamese, Cambodian, Filipino), East African, Middle eastern to go along with large populations of Koreans and Chinese do to being on the pacific rim. San Diego also has the largest number of Indian reservations for a single county. One more thing to add would be that not all Hispanic speakers are Mexican but also from different countries in central America (Honduran, Guatemala).

New York is possibly the most diverse city in the whole world.

NYC is hands down. No other city in the country (or maybe even the world) can compare. While other cities like Chicago, San Fran, etc. are very diverse, nothing as great as NYC.
