It's Texas. My dislikes are mostly the weather, too hot and humid, too flat, too boring. My likes......well I'm sure someone will come up with something

Wisconsin. The only thing I like about it is that it has made DH & I appreciate what we had back in New England and we are in the planning stage to return next year.

Okay, there is one other thing I like about WI. We have excellent shopping here.

Iowa. I like the quality of life here. It's a great place to grow up or raise a family. What I don't like about it is that overall it is a great place for senior citizens but not for young people. I'm a young person myself so that's why I think that.

Ohio. It's a great place to grow up, get an education, and raise a family. Midwestern values are alive and well here and most people are polite. On the flip side, the weather is lousy, we have about seven months of cold, gray, dreary days. Our economy seems tethered to the past. We really need to get out of the Rust Belt mindset and into technology era.

Pennsylvania. I'm basing my "pros" and "cons" list basically without including Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, as each of these cities is much more cosmopolitan and urbane than the rest of our rural state.

PROS: Low Crime
Low Taxes
Great Schools
Revitalizing Downtowns
Four Distinct Seasons
Proximity to Other Areas of Interest
Historic Appeal

CONS: Urban Sprawl
Sour Economy
Crumbling Infrastructure
Lack of Sociocultural Diversity
Rude People
Elderly Population

I live in Missouri.
Pros:
Practically all my family are here
Nice rivers to float
St. Louis is pretty nice

Cons:
Hot
Humid
LOTS of bugs
No real mountains (personal thing)

I miss my old state.

Florida. I like it, so there must be something wrong with me, or I must be wearing rose colored glasses, especially with the part of the state I am in!!!!

Kentucky, I love it because of it's history, people and natural beauty plus most of my family is here. The only things I can complain about is the humidity and skeeters.
