In the last three years, when so much has changed, American stress levels have remained surprisingly the same.

Gallup recently released the survey results of their Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, and found 39.4 percent of the 352,840 respondents said they felt stressed "a lot of the day."

On that slideshow, #5 is spelled "District of Colombia."

Not surprised to see the Dakotas, Nebraska and Iowa on that list.

Lots of people are moving out of those states, though.

So? The ones who stay must like it and not be too stressed.

I'll save you the trouble of Xing out the ad and then paging through them all in order to find out (and I wish there was a rule here that the OP of links to articles like these would be required to list them in text).

Hawaii
Wyoming
North Dakota
South Dakota
DC
Iowa
Georgia
Delaware
Louisiana
Nebraska

Whoever measured the stress in those states has obviously never tried to get past Atlanta on the Interstate---which is about a quarter of Georgia.

I disagree with all of them on the list with the only exception of Hawaii.

I would feel quite stressed in some of those states

Actually, from what my relatives who live on Big Island have said, life on Hawaii is actually boring because nothing ever changes. If that means its not stressful, then I guess they can keep that.
